Rachel Warren joined YoCO as the Operations Manager in February 2021 to ensure the smooth running of all aspects of the programme. She acts as the main conduit between the Trustees, Youth Groups and the Alumni group, as well as handling external enquiries and communicating with YoCO supporters, partners, the media, local councils and charitable enterprises.
Previously, Rachel spent over 25 years working for a global advertising agency in London, where she held a range of Media Director roles working with multi-national FMCG brands. Most recently she was a Senior Operations Director gaining extensive experience in project management, delivering commercial and operational excellence and building strong client relationships.
Youth Group Manager
Samantha Young manages all the Youth Groups and, together with the group leaders, develops and delivers the YoCO programme. Since joining YoCO in September 2020, Sam provides vital one-to-one guidance to those young people who require additional support. She is a dedicated youth and community worker who is passionate about equipping young people with the skills, tools, knowledge, experience and resilience to overcome personal challenges they may face.
Sam holds a number of diplomas in childcare, education and early years practice as well as a foundation honours degree in Youth and Community Work. In addition, Sam is a qualified Complementary Therapist and is also currently studying towards a Level 4 diploma in Counselling for children and adolescents.
Duke of Edinburgh Award Manager
Gail has worked with Duke of Edinburgh participants for over 25 years and joined YoCO in 2021 to guide its young people through the Awards. A qualified teacher, Gail currently works in a similar role in an Oxfordshire school and enjoys spending time outdoors either swimming, cycling or walking when away from the classroom. She is committed to seeing young people develop and grow in confidence through the Duke of Edinburgh Awards and YoCO is delighted to welcome her to the team.
